As a Horror expert, I’m often asked for different types of Horror films. One of the most common is a film that’s not-so-scary. My list contains about a dozen Family Friendly Horror/Thrillers. These aren’t films where Mom has a date with a werewolf, or my best friend is a zombie. Witches are actual witches, Munsters are Munsters, and the residents of Halloween Town are a collection of Nightmares. They live in a ghoulishly designed world, not the industrial apartments of Monstropolis. The films that make up this group are Creepy, but they’re also Kooky. And the greatest of them All is The Nightmare Before Christmas.
